Once you register, we’ll sit down and get your entire history so we know what needs to be done in order to position you for success. Based on your exam history, your timeline, and every other detail that you can share with us, you and your coach will craft a step-by-step, day-by-day plan that you’ll follow throughout your session to make your exam prep process as simple as possible. You and your coach can also adjust the plan as you go if necessary. The plan you create with your coach will address your specific weaknesses, so while our sessions follow a daily struture, you will spend more time working on your weaknesses than anything else. If your plan includes content review, you’ll get acess to our partner OME platform for 3-months.

WE HELP YOU EXECUTE THE PLAN

The foundation of our Step 1 program is 1-on-1 coaching. You’ll meet with your coach Monday-Friday for 1-2hrs/day in order to chip away at your personalized plan. Your 1-on-1 meetings typically revolve around doing questions together, but you can use your time for whatever you need help with. These sessions are unique to your needs, so whatever we feel is going to get you the most benefit on a particular day is what we’ll do. Additionally, all students get to participate in daily group test-taking skills sessions. You’ll also get access to our daily quizzes, drill sessions, and Online MedEd video platform so you have a quick & easy way to improve your weaknesses.

WE ASSESS YOUR EXAM READINESS

As you move through your sessions working with your personal coach, they will be assessing you to identify weak spots that need to be improved. As you get closer to your scheduled exam date, we’ll begin implementing assessment exams to ensure that you’re in the best position possible to pass your exam. Based on your results, your coach will adjust your plan to ensure that you’re making the most of your time as your exam day approaches.

I Need To Start Off-Cycle, Can I Get In?

Typically, yes. Reach out to us and we’ll see if there’s room to get you started right away. If you start off-cycle, you might have to wait to access our OME platform, as we active new users every 2 weeks.

Does This Work For COMP or COMLEX?

Yes. Many of our students start while preparing for their school’s COMP exam. We also work with DO students all the time and are well-versed in this exam. 

What Time Are The Daily Test-Taking Strategy Sessions?

Timing may change depending on our coach’s schedules. They are typically between 10am – 2pm central. This is a 1hr session and recordings will be available inside the Facebook group.

Can I Choose My Meeting Time?

We try to accommodate students’ desired time, however scheduling is on a first come, first served basis. The earlier you register, the more likely you are to get your ideal time. All sessions run between 8am-5pm central time. If you have a specific time in mind, feel free to reach out to us before signing up.

Do I Get A Free QBank?

We recommend using Amboss and we use it for our daily questions-training. All students who decide to use Amboss will be reimbursed for a full month once their session has ended. Simply send us your receipt for a 1-month refund.

Are There Additional Costs?

The only additional costs you may incur are USMLE World (if you choose to use it) and NBME exams. Should you decide to use additional resources such as First Aid, Pathoma, etc, then you’d be responsible for those costs as well.
