YOUR CV & PERSONAL STATEMENT
A perfect CV and a killer personal statement are the keys to getting invited for an interview. We’ll help you put together the perfect CV and help you craft a world-class personal statement that will grab the reader’s attention and pique their interest in you as a candidate. You’ll get 3 rounds of CV editing and 3 rounds of personal statement editing to ensure that you’re putting out the absolute best products possible. You can submit your documents for review as soon as they’re ready (details for submission will be email to you following registration).
MASTERING THE ART OF THE INTERVIEW
Becoming ‘elite level’ when it comes to interviewing requires repetitions. That’s why you’ll meet on a weekly basis, starting in late September, with our interview preparation expert. She’ll help you master the skills needed to become an expert at the interview process. Each week, you’ll meet with everyone in the program via zoom and go through a sequential series of exercises focusing on helping you master answers to the most commonly asked residency interview questions. Our interview expert will help you craft your own personal style and develop a winning approach to setting yourself apart from the competition during interview season. Weekly interview training begins the week after applications go out (late Sept / early Oct). Training will be Tuesdays or Wednesdays at approximately 7pm ET.
MOCK INTERVIEWS TO FINE-TUNE YOUR SKILLS
Once you’re feeling good about your interview skills, it’s time to put yourself to the test. As part of the program, you’ll get 2 mock interviews with either 2 or 3 of our team of experts. Each mock interview will consist of different questions to test your skills and we’ll provide you will a fully detailed breakdown of your performance immediately afterwards. You’ll also receive a PDF document with the interviewers’ written notes to your answers, allowing you to assess your performance and fine-tune your responses post-interview. You can book your mock interviews as soon as you’re ready to put yourself to the challenge! Instructions to schedule will be provided as soon as you register.
ERAS REVIEW
The final piece of the residency application puzzle is your ERAS application. If you want us to review your ERAS application, you can send us a PDF for a one-time review. This ensures that we can catch any spelling or grammatical errors so that you’re putting forth the most professional application possible.
