3 Common USMLE Step 1 QBank Problems & How To Fix Them.
3 common USMLE Qbank problems…
And how to fix them quickly 👇
😢Problem #1. Your scores aren’t improving
✅Solution: While reviewing your blocks, ask yourself 3 questions: 1) Did I not know the content? 2) Did I not understand what they asked, and 3) Did I make a careless mistake? (Based on your answer, spend more time addressing the cause of your mistake); do this with each question & you’ll begin to see progress quickly.
😡Problem #2. You struggle to finish a full block in time
✅Solution: Before doing timed blocks, learn the ins-and-outs of test-taking strategy in untimed mode. Once you’re able to navigate efficiently, start timing yourself.
😮Problem #3. Your weaknesses aren’t improving
✅Solution: Do questions in topic/subject-specific mode; focusing on 1 topic at a time will get you results 10x faster than if you’re trying to fix weaknesses while doing Q’s in random mode.
I hope this helps!
