It’s for anybody who has problems/challenges or who wants to proactively prevent problems/challenges. Strategy sessions are open to all medical students, no matter where you’re at in the journey… Approximately 20% meet with me prior to starting medical school to ensure they set themselves up for success, another 20% between 3rd and 4th year as they begin thinking about Residency applications, and the rest typically meet with me near the end of the basic sciences as Step 1 approaches. Wherever you’re at in the journey, whether you’re a U.S. student, IMG/FMG, or DO, I’m here to help.

Anything and everything, seriously! Like I said, I’ve seen it all over the past 15+ years and am confident I can help you with anything (as long as it’s medical school-related, of course).  You’re encouraged to bring all of your questions and concerns to our session, but here are some of the most commonly discussed topics:

• USMLE prep (every aspect from how to study to bouncing back from failure; and everything in between)
• How to position oneself for successfully matching into Residency (and how to get into super-competitive specialties)
• How to prepare for Step 1 prep during the basic sciences
•  How to get an above-average Step 2 CK score

This is a high-level discussion… I strongly recommend sitting down and writing a list of questions you have before we meet so you can get the most from our time together. The more you bring to our session, the more you’ll benefit.

Unfortunately, I’ve found over the years that students rarely follow through when I give them free advice. My time is valuable and is reserved for students who are deadly serious and dedicated to their success… Students who recognize that medical school success will land them a great career with a six-figure salary. For these reasons, my 1-hour 1-on-1 strategy session fee is $500. No, it’s not cheap, but it’s a drop in the bucket compared to what you’ll earn as a physician — heck, you’ll make more than this hourly as a physician! If you’re serious about your success, I’m sure you’ll agree that this is a valuable investment in your future.

I offer 1-2 sessions per day, Monday-Friday, with availability from 1-5pm Eastern time. You can select a time from the calendar below that works for you.
